While this is a great thing to do to help with research, it isn’t the only way that one can help in the process. There are other things such as support groups, local awareness programs, charities, and many other events.

It is only through public events that it is possible to let others know the truth about the condition. These are only some many ways in which the public can be informed on the condition and help in its research.

Donation: Donating financially is probably the most basic form of support that you can do for any organization. This assists mainly with research that is being conducted. While this is a positive thing, it doesn’t help individuals with the condition, or the public s’ knowledge.

Support Groups: Starting a local support group is a great option. This would involve finding only a handful of other people in your area that are looking for support from others that also have the condition. Here you will be able to discuss personal experiences with others, as well as anything that has helped you know how to manage Parkinson’s disease. This is similar to other groups such as alcoholics ananomyous.

Showing support: Being able to show support for parkinson disease can come in the simplest form of wearing a shirt or using anything that makes mention of the condition.

Local information: Giving out general information to the community also assists in making the public more informed about the condition. This can be as simple as asking permission to place pamphlets or forms in a public place such as a doctors’ office or a library.

Charity events: There are numerous types of events that can be held in order to support the condition of parkinson’s disease. This includes anything from motorcycle rides, sport camps or tournaments, to biking or running races. If you can come up with an idea, pretty much anything can be used.

Local yearly events: This can include anything such as the fourth of July, or any other seasonal or holiday fair or festival that your community may have. This is a great way to help inform and educate the community and raise funds for research.

Another thing that can be used as a great tool to inform the public of parkinson’s disease or any medical condition, is through someone that is well-known to the public to speak out if they their selves have faced the condition. This not only helps the public in knowing more about the condition, but it also encourages those that have it on how to manage Parkinson’s disease better. Although many of these people no longer exist, there have been many well-known people that faced parkinson’s disease. In saying this, although you may not want others to know, you shouldn’t be proud to not come out, but proud enough to let others know about having parkinson’s disease and wanting to find a treatment and cure.

Although many people have control over their condition and have learned how to manage Parkinson’s disease, there are still many people that have a more severe case.  If you or someone you know has parkinson disease and you want to do something to help educate the public to bring awareness, you should visit the parkinson’s disease page to learn more. I hope that this has been helpful in knowing how to assist with both research and the publics awareness of this condition.

  1. I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease a year ago at the age of 68. For several months I had noticed tremors in my right hand and the shaking of my right foot when I was sitting. My normally beautiful cursive writing was now small cramped printing. And I tended to lose my balance. Neurologist had me walk down the hall and said I didn’t swing my right arm. I had never noticed! I was in denial for a while as there is no history in my family of parents and five older siblings, but now accept I had classic symptoms. I was taking pramipexole (Sifrol), carbidopa/levodopa and Biperiden, 2 mg. and started physical therapy to strengthen muscles. nothing was really working to help my condition.I went off the Siferol (with the doctor’s knowledge) and started on parkinson’s herbal formula i ordered from Solution Health Herbal Clinic, my symptoms totally declined over a 5 weeks use of the Parkinsons disease natural herbal formula. i am now almost 70 and doing very well, the disease is totally reversed!! 1. That’s great,

I’m glad to know that something so simple like that was able to reverse things, because I know that parkinsons is a very serious condition. I think that there is some natural substance that could help almost anything. I guess you just have to do the research. So you haven’t had any of the symptoms come back ?

  2. I was diagnosed with Juvenile Parkinsonism at 16 after two years of doctor visits, tests and scary misdiagnoses. I remember being perfectly healthy, never even having had the flu until I was diagnosed. I was 47 at the time and was out to dinner with my family to celebrate after I got promoted at the office. While in the middle of a conversation with my mom, I passed out. About 30 seconds later I popped my head back up and continued like nothing had happened, while everyone looked like I was crazy. I lived with this all my life till someone told me about madida parkinson disease herbal formula. I place an order from their website at www . madidaherbalclinic .weebly .com, I was on madida herbal treatment for 9 weeks but I am 48 this year with no sign of Parkinson disease again. Madida PD herbal formula get rid of my PD.

    1. That’s great, I’m glad that things have improved for you. I will look at the site you mentioned and see what they have. I’m assuming you probably just started taking it without mentioning it to your Dr ? I know most Dr’s don’t go for any type natural therapy for a condition. I hope you continue to get better. It will be nice at some point to have a solution to all of these medical problems. Although there are probably some already out there that the phrmisudical companies are not allowing to be known since its money out of their pocket.

  3. I am a 51 year old female that just found out I have Parkinson’s about a year and half, but I have been having signs of it for years, tremors, depression, body weakness. ECT. I honestly don’t think my doctor was reading the signs because of my gender and age. A few years ago I had my shoulder lock up on me and I was sent to a P.T since x-rays didn’t show any physical damage. My shaking was getting worse and I began falling. Only when my speech became so bad that it brought concern to my dentist was Parkinson’s even considered. He phoned my doctor with his concerns about my shaking and balance problems. By this time I was forgoing shots in the back of my neck for back and neck pain to which once again I was sent to a P.T (although x-rays showed no damage) I was told I had a few spurs which were most likely causing the pain. Here I was feeling like my whole body was falling apart and doctor could not find anything wrong, maybe in was all in my head? My doctor even seemed annoyed with me and things just kept progressing and I just kept it to myself, why bother going through testing and them finding nothing? Well, it was after my second P.T called my doctor about the weakness in my legs and arms, by this time I have developed a gait in my walk and I fell more frequently. Only then did my doctor send me to a specialist and it was found that I had Parkinson’s, and that I have had it for awhile. I think because I was a woman that my signs and symptoms weren’t taken seriously and therefor left untreated for so long,I was taking pramipexole dihydrochloride three times daily, I Was on carbidopa levodopa but only lasted 90 minutes then wore off.I found that none of the current medications worked effective for me.I got tired of using those medication so I decided to apply natural herbs formula that was prescribed to me by my second P.T, i purchase the herbal formula from totalcureherbsfoundation. com, There has been huge progression ever since I start the treatment plan which will last for 15 weeks usage.all the symptoms and sign has begin to disappear .
